Paula Jameson presently serves as Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Gibson Guitar Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee. As Gibson's CAO, Paula manages the information technology, legal, intellectual property, human resources, and physical facilities of the company.
Previous to her position at Gibson, Ms. Jameson was a partner in the Washington D.C. law firm of Arter & Hadden. Arter & Hadden specializes in entertainment, communications, copyright, and Internet legal issues. Ms. Jameson represented and advised media and communications companies and producers in commercial transactions, offered guidance in regulatory and public policy proceedings before federal regulatory bodies, the Congress and administrative departments and agencies.
From 1986-1998 Ms. Jameson served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). During her time with PBS, Paula Jameson directed legal, copyright, governmental affairs, and labor relations activities for all PBS operations. Her responsibilities involved production, acquisition, distribution, advertising and promotion of program services broadcast by 346 stations.
