Working on media-based projects at LIC (and WHA) can have effect of teaching faculty how to make better materials for their classroom use.

Working on media projects can stimulate more interesting classroom presentations and assignments

UWEX has underutlized staff and support resources such as Pyle Center, ICS, Co-op Extension, D/Ed, that could be integrated into strong WHA+LIC "new media" partnership

LIC and UWEX can benefit from WPT Exec Producers' knowledge of project budgeting
1.3.1.2 Idea: Better use of UWEX Support staff
1.3.1.3 Idea: Ability to negotiate intellectual property contracts
Contracts with faculty and departments involve intellectual property issues, revenue splits, etc. Requires legal, fiscal and negotiating skills. LIC and WHA will need more of this expertise.
